OBJECTIVE: Today I will create my Brief Statement about my Digital Citizenship NEW VLOG & my PSA Video in google docs.   I will then post to my NEW WEB Vlog ON MY DIGITAL CITIZENSHIP TOPIC.

URL: your topic &initials, then click continue
From this point on gather all your resources so this becomes your final project for my class about this topic.  You will include video clips, images, etc AFTER Christmas break.  As you find information ADD GADGETS TO YOUR BLOG, to help your peers.

I want everyone to clearly understand WHAT, WHY and HOW they will be completing this project.  
I WANT A ROUGH DRAFT PSA BEFORE CHRISTMAS BREAK, SO YOUR PEERS CAN EVALUATE YOU DURING THE LAST 2 DAYS, YOU CAN REFLECT OVER BREAK, IMPROVE AND FINALIZE OVER CHRISTMAS.  YES, SOME OF YOU WILL FINISH COMPLETELY BECAUSE YOU CHOOSE TO GIVE A 100% THE FIRST TIME! BUT YOU WILL STILL NEED TO HAVE YOUR SURVEY, RESULTS & EVALUATION REFLECTION COMPLETE TO BE A 100% COMPLETE.

Day 2
9. Spend one day experimenting with your design for  your presentation. List five key facts or behaviors you want to include and change to help your peers become a safe digital citizen within your digital topic. Keep in mind the digital footprints they create each time they access internet directly from a computer or through the following is just a few  
1.  Computer Camera's 
2.  PS Attendance, PS gradebook
3.  FB, FB friends and FB Friends-their FB Friends (any internet action)
4.  Digital Camera's via the roads you drive, the purchases you make via your cell phone, 
5.  EVERY text is fully accessible in a court of law
6.  Every action taken on a computer is FULLY accessible in a court of law when there is a digital law broken because of access, communication, lack of manners, security, buying & selling illegally using someone's credit card, credit card theft,identity theft. etc.

DIGITAL CITIZENSHIP PROJECT- Plan Design Folder

ASSIGN YOURSELF:  PSA Video due 12/14
DO NOW:  Open up Word and copy and paste the objective to your blog.
OBJECTIVE; Today I will create the WORD document that I will print as my
process journal at the end of this project.



AGENDA
1. DO NOW-Open up blog
WHY?

All through the design cycle you need to analyze what you are doing.  You do this in your process journal.  The process journal is like a diary that you must keep all through a technology project. It could be completed as a diary on your laptop and photos or sketches inserted.

You will put all your rough work, thoughts and ideas into your process journal.  Sometimes you will write it in by hand, sometimes you will type something in. Sometimes you may find something related to what we did in the studio, eg photograph, image or video and you can copy + paste it in your process journal. You could even scan rough sketches and put those in as well.  

2.  Open up Word and create your Introduction to your Topic- Your Thesis statement
you already have posted to your blog.
3.  Then continue with introduction of the facts you have found from your sources-> that means basically summarize all of your facts and what you are going to focus on for your PSA Video.
4.  Create a Bibliography page that you will continue to add sources to as you use more sites.
5.  Save this file in a Google doc so you have access to it anywhere and continue with your iMovie.
6.  You should be able to use most of your blog posts.
7.  Once you have finished post a reflection of what you accomplished today-

Students you will type your plan on your blog and then post that same reflection here.  It is a quick way for me to check you have completed the assignment daily from now until 12/9.  Your reflections should be: Level III/8th grade: 1 paragragraph, Level 4-9th-2 paragraphs, Level 5-10th+ 3 paragraphs.
